Dholpur: Plantation at Government College, Dholpur on World Environment Day

Dholpur, Rajasthan : On the occasion of World Environment Day, a tree plantation program was organized at Government College, Dholpur, under the joint aegis of the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) and the National Service Scheme (NSS). Fruit-bearing and shady trees were planted on the college campus, and a pledge was taken to protect them.

Principal Dr. Girraj Singh Meena, NSS District Nodal Officer Dr. Sohrab Sharma, ELC Incharge Vinod Kumar Garg, NSS Incharge Pawan Kumar, and College Ambassador Ramkesh Kushwaha shared the message of environmental conservation. A large number of volunteers participated in the program and planted trees.

Bari, Dholpur: On World Environment Day, the BJP City Board, Bari, organized a program of water worship, volunteer work, tree planting, and the installation of bird feeders at the Kela Mata Temple and the Bamni River Ghats as part of the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign. Cold sherbet was also distributed to passersby.

Former state general secretary Motilal Meena called for fulfilling the Chief Minister’s pledge of a green Rajasthan. Campaign coordinator Shravan Kumar Verma emphasized the need to make water conservation and environmental protection a public movement.

Divisional president Vandana Shivhare emphasized the need for public participation, describing water conservation as the foundation of sustainable development. A pledge to conserve water was also administered at the event. Several BJP officials and workers, including Nandkishore Shukla, Kamal Pahariya, and Anil Goyal, were present on the occasion.
