Karauli: Vanshika Prajapat increased the pride of Karauli, won silver medal in Under-17 hockey
Karauli, Rajasthan | Vanshika, a promising athlete from Bamanpura village in the Karauli assembly constituency and granddaughter of senior teacher Shri Bhagwan, has once again brought glory to Karauli district and the Prajapati community with her outstanding performance in the sports world.
Vanshika won the silver medal in the Under-17 Girls Hockey competition at the 55th Regional Sports Meet of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). She had previously brought glory to the district by winning the gold medal at the national level in the Under-14 Girls Hockey competition last year.
Vanshika credits her grandfather Shri Bhagwan, her parents Bholo and Avdyesh, and her maternal grandfather Ramesh for this achievement. Her maternal grandfather is a renowned private mathematics teacher in the Masalpur Dang region. Under the guidance of coach Manmohan Meena, Vanshika has honed her talent and consistently set new standards of success.
Vanshika’s achievement has brought joy to her family, community, and the entire district. Many people including social worker Manprakash Prajapat wished them a bright future and said that daughters are waving the flag of their talent in every field and are becoming an inspiration for the society.
