Early Life

Archana Tyagi was born on May 31, 1970, in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. Her father is the late Shri Vidyanand Vidyarthi and her mother is the late Smt. Rameshwari Devi. She has an elder brother and three sisters in the family. The educational environment played an important role in shaping her personality.

Education

Archana Tyagi has completed her postgraduate studies in Chemistry and Education. She received her M.Sc. (Chemistry) from DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, and her M.Ed. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

Career Beginning

Archana Tyagi began her career as a teacher. Along with teaching, she promoted literary writing, including stories, poems, articles, children’s stories, satire, and other works.

Major Achievements

Eight books have been published in the genres of short stories, short stories, poems, children’s stories, and novels. She also guest-edited the special issue of Nari Asmita magazine. One of her stories was selected as the best story of the year by the Rajasthan Patrika Group. Her works have also been published in the annual issues of Navbharat Times and Grihalakshmi magazine.
