Mental health camp organized in Mehandipur Balaji

Mehandipur Balaji, Rajasthan : A special mental health screening, counseling, and public awareness camp was organized today at the Primary Health Center, Mehandipur Balaji. Numerous patients from the area attended the camp to have their mental health issues assessed and receive counseling.

During the camp, psychiatrist Dr. Ramswaroop Singh, CRA Gaurav Sharma, and Dr. Ruksar Bano released a special public awareness IEC poster related to mental health and the government’s helpline, “TeleManas.” This poster encouraged the public to be aware of mental health and seek timely treatment.A total of 17 mental health patients underwent detailed evaluations at the camp.

Dr. Ramswaroop Singh and CRA Gaurav Sharma provided in-depth counseling to these patients suffering from stress, depression, and other mental disorders, and provided them with appropriate medical advice, necessary treatment, and free medications.

Awareness Campaign by District Mental Health Unit, Karauli

In addition to the camp, the team from the District Mental Health Unit, Karauli, conducted a special campaign to raise public awareness about mental health at Aastha Dham, Mehandipur Balaji. The team distributed IEC materials and pamphlets to raise awareness among the public.

Additionally, the Primary Health Center staff were provided with detailed information about the government’s crucial helpline, Tele-MANAS, toll-free number 14416, so that patients can be connected to free, 24-hour mental health counseling if needed.Sunil Yadav from the Nippy Institute was also present on the occasion and contributed to the successful conduct of the camp.

The dedicated staff of the Primary Health Center played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp. Staff members Anant Pareek, Sumer Meena, Mohanlal Meena, Manisha Gurjar, Nigita Gurjar, Jitendra Sain, and Vinay Gehlot were present.
